2. Object
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website telheirosantos.co.uk, owned by Telheiro Santos, and the conditions for buying and selling products through the online shop.
3. Legal age
The sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited to persons under the age of 18. When making a purchase, the customer declares that they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages in their country of residence.
4. Products and Prices
- All prices are shown in euros, including VAT at the legal rate in force.
- The product images are merely illustrative.
- Telheiro Santos reserves the right to change prices, promotions and conditions without prior notice.
- The price applied will always be that in force at the time the order is finalised.
- All additional costs (including taxes and transport costs) are always clearly presented before the purchase is finalised.
5. Ordering
Once the order has been placed, the customer will receive a confirmation email with all the details. The order will only be processed once payment has been confirmed.

Orders are only dispatched once they have been properly collected. In the case of bank transfers, proof of payment may be requested.
7. Shipping and deliveries
- Deliveries are made to mainland Portugal, the islands and the European countries available at the checkout.
- Orders are dispatched by carrier or CTT Expresso.
- Delivery times vary between 2 and 5 working days in Portugal and 5 to 10 working days for other European destinations.
- Shipping rates depend on the weight, volume and destination of the parcel.
8. Right of Free Resolution (Returns)
- The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the products.
- Items must be returned intact, without signs of use and in their original packaging.
- Opened, broken or altered bottles cannot be returned.
- Return costs are borne by the customer, unless Telheiro Santos makes an error.
- Refunds will be made using the same payment method within a maximum of 14 days of receiving and checking the returned items.
9. Guarantees
All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in Portuguese and European legislation. In the event of a defect, the customer should contact Telheiro Santos immediately.
10. Responsibility
Telheiro Santos is not responsible for interruptions or service failures of the online shop due to external causes, nor for manifest errors in price or description resulting from computer failures.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, brands, logos and images on the site belong to Telheiro Santos or duly authorised third parties. Their use without consent is prohibited.

The customer has the right to lodge a complaint via Electronic Complaints Book.
14. Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent Portuguese courts.
